Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to establish a trusted advisor relationship with customers through various engagement tools and resources.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties

  • Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC.
  • Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.   
  • Responsible for answering questions about the company, products, services and other topics.
  • Nurture existing customer contacts and offer solutions to customers/prospect inquiries.
  • Respond to sales inquiries, collaborate with outside sales representatives and sales operations.
  • Build and manage strong customer relationships through customer interactions by optimizing opportunities through proactive communication.
  • Engage with customers via phone, portal, email, text and chat to respond to requests, resolve issues, answer questions and follow up on job bid results.
  • Determine the right course of action for customer requests/issues with a broad understanding of Blanchard product offerings.
  • Search plan rooms Isqft, Dodge etc for new projects with generator ATS and switchgear.
  • Work with outside vendors to provide complete customer solutions.
  • Serve as a focal point for creating, collecting, organizing, and updating the CRM in order to support business development.
  • Optimize our lead acquisition processes through appropriate channels to increase opportunities in the sales pipeline and, when appropriate, ensure customers are connected to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Supports strategic outbound campaigns by helping targeted customers understand value of solution offerings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business related field preferred.
  • 2+ years related customer service experience preferred.
  • Results oriented and focused on continuous process improvement. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities; meets deadlines and works well under pressure. 
  • Must possess a customer centric mindset along with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions understand concerns and overcome objections.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter. Able to effectively manage multiple tasks/priorities and adapt to change.
  • Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone.
  • Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly. Will be trained on CRM software, Rental process system, online parts ordering, etc.
  • Personal commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence. 
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Working Conditions

  • The physical environment requires the employee to work inside throughout the year.
  • Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
  • Seeing, reading, writing and physical presence at the job location are required to complete job responsibilities.
  • Use of computer and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.
