Responsibilities

  • Contributes to a positive work environment and promote the vision, mission, and values of Blanchard Machinery Company.
  • Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Identify operational areas of opportunity, improve profitability, customer experience, and effectiveness.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and teams addressing these opportunities.
  • Positively influence and maintain key performance indicators.
  • Governance of Service Excellence Program and associated criteria.
  • Assist in implementing "Best Practices" at all branches that will improve customer experience.
  • Assist in the development of capacity and capability plans for operational growth.
  • Influence and motivate a progressive service culture by supporting central Service Department initiatives and goals.
  • Supervise central support team including technical services, warranty administration, and various service support specialists.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.
  • 3+ years supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and related software (Word, Excel, etc.) and CAT Software-related systems.
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem- solving skills required, with the ability to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • High degree of interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral communication skills is required.
  • Competitive urgency with the capacity to make sound decisions, evaluate organizational strengths and weaknesses, identify training opportunities, and continuously improve.
  • Self-directed, committed to building a supportive, positive, and winning culture.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with teams and positive influence outcomes.

 Working Conditions

  • The physical environment requires the employee to work primarily inside throughout the year.
  • Ability to travel consistently within the area of responsibility.
  • Position requires employee to be physically present at designated worksite location.
  • Requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
  • Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.
  • Use of computers and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.
