Yard Coordinator

The primary responsibilities of the Yard Coordinator involve the upkeep of the property in order to enhance and maintain its curb appeal, in addition to assisting the rest of the service staff, as directed, in their efforts to manage the property in an efficient manner.

• Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.
• Throughout the day, physically walk the property in order to remove litter and other debris.
• Maintain "critical" areas: dumpster area, grounds adjacent to the road, and parking lot/walkway area.
• Transfer items to be removed to dumpster or storage area, whichever is applicable.
• Operate street sweeper equipment for property cleaning.
• Clean and maintain all common areas and storage.
• Provide assistance, as needed, to technicians and other personnel
• Performs all work in safe manner and promotes a safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous forklift operating experience is a plus.
• Must possess valid driver’s license with no more than two citations in previous 36 months.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the safe use and maintenance of hand/yard tools as well as street sweeper equipment.
• Must be a Team player that is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency.
• Proficient in the use of a computer to complete job duties and timekeeping.
• Able to work over time, weekends and holidays as requested. 

Working Conditions

• The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside (non-climate controlled) and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
• Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.
• Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
• Must be able to lift varied weight up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.
• Use of computer and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.
